Design as language, Space as perception
PASA Architects is a Bangkok-based design studio working across architecture, interior design, and urban environments. The name “PASA”—meaning language or perception in Thai—reflects our belief that architecture is not only a physical construct, but a medium through which space communicates experience, memory, and cultural meaning.
STUDIO PHILOSOPHY

We approach design as a continuous spatial field, where interior, building, and city are understood as interconnected conditions rather than separate disciplines
SPATIAL PHILOSOPHY
Our work resists architecture as a static object. Instead, it is shaped through atmosphere, sequence, and perception—where light, material, proportion, and movement define how space is experienced over time.
Each project is conceived as a spatial narrative, unfolding through transitions, thresholds, and carefully calibrated relationships between openness and enclosure.
Translation, not imitation.
CULTURAL POSITION
Operating within the context of Southeast Asia, our work engages climate, material culture, and everyday life as generative forces.
Rather than replicating tradition, we focus on translation—reframing cultural memory, vernacular logic, and spatial archetypes into a contemporary architectural language. This allows each project to remain contextually grounded while maintaining clarity and relevance in a global context.

Balanced between intuition and rigor.
DESIGN METHOD
Across all scales, our work is guided by three core principles that shape how projects are imagined, organized, and experienced.
Atmosphere
Sequence
Context
We shape space through light, material, shadow, sound, and texture to create emotional resonance.
Architecture is experienced through movement, transitions, thresholds, and spatial rhythm.
Each project emerges from its cultural, environmental, and urban conditions.
50 : 50 METHODOLOGY
We approach design as a dialogue between client aspirations, lived experience, and architectural thinking. Through this framework, each project becomes a collaborative interpretation rather than a predetermined outcome.
Architecture, interiors, hospitality, and spatial installations.
PRACTICE
Our portfolio spans private residences, hospitality environments, interior projects, and spatial installations. Across typologies, we maintain a consistent focus on spatial clarity, material sensibility, and experiential depth—creating environments that are not only functional, but immersive and enduring.

PASA Architects is a Bangkok-based studio formed by a group of design professionals working across architecture, interiors, and urban contexts. The practice operates through a compact, collaborative team where members contribute across both conceptual and technical phases. By maintaining a focused team structure, the studio ensures direct involvement in every project—allowing ideas to be developed with precision and carried through to execution without dilution. The work is driven by a balance between spatial clarity, material expression, and atmospheric quality.
Natthaphan Sukonthaphan is an architect and design director at PASA Architects, working across architecture and interior design. He leads projects from concept to completion, with a focus on spatial clarity, materiality, and context-driven design.
Krich Lekkla is an architect specializing in BIM and technical coordination, with experience in architectural design and project delivery. He focuses on translating design concepts into precise and buildable outcomes.
Boonyakorn Damrongrat is an urban researcher specializing in urban studies and spatial analysis. She contributes research-based insights to support design strategies and contextual understanding in architectural and urban projects.
PASA Architects develops design as a form of spatial language — translating culture, environment, and human experience into contemporary architecture.
Every project begins with a coversation.
